Nice move DirecTV!

When purchasing the sports package from DirecTV, one of the main reasons was the ability to get programming from MSG and the Rangers games and highlights. Tonight, the Rangers retired Adam Graves’ #9, honoring one of the best humans to ever be a Ranger (and possibly a hockey player). Rather than broadening the reach of this event by broadcasting it to as many people as possible, helping to show fans that not all pro athletes are selfish, egotistical jerks, DirecTV decided to include it in their blackout. Therefor, only those that purchased the extra NHL Center Ice package got to see the ceremony. I think it really is ironic that on this night, when the Rangers honored someone who gave back more than anyone, DirecTV took the opposite approach. Class move, guys.
